How cute is that first picture with the 'Karl' panties?! That entire ensemble is adorable, even the satin bow around the waist. Here are a few pictures of Claudia Schiffer (our longtime favorite!) as photographed by Karl Lagerfeld for Vogue Germany (October 2009). Some of the lingerie includes pieces from Chantal Thomass, Fogal hosiery, Agent Provocateur, Myla, Lascivious & Moschino. Claudia can wear anything and look amazing...but the cute lingerie certainly does help!

We had to share this Vogue Germany editorial featuring Anja Rubik because lingerie seems to make a cameo appearance in each shot. For every great outfit she is wearing, there's even better lingerie underneath. Of course some of the world's top lingerie brands make an appearance in these pictures: Carine Gilson, Myla, La Perla Black Label and Roberto Cavalli (we can't quite make out the other credits). We also love how stockings play an important role in most of the images, particularly the cover! In fact, the cover look reminds us of our new Fifi Chachnil Fall shipment that's on its way in...lots of sexy body-shaper styles (but more on that when we have the new items posted on our website).

Faire Frou Frou in TV Commercial

We love it when Faire Frou Frou makes a cameo appearance on TV, and especially love it when we have a clip to share with you!
The attached video is a TV ad for KGB (542542) which is a text answer service that provides quick, accurate responses to the questions you text to them (per their website). You can learn more about them here.
The ad is pretty cute, and kind of a reality here in the store. But more importantly, we love that the Myla 'Annabelle' Peek-a-Boo bra gets such great exposure on our mannequin!
We wonder if we text the question 'who is the best luxury lingerie boutique?' to them if their response would be Faire Frou Frou? It better be!

The Evolution of Lingerie

The Fashion and Textile Museum in London is currently hosting an exhibit titled "Undercover: The Evolution of Underwear". The show details how lingerie has evolved over the decades, as influenced by politics, trends and society in general. Some of the featured brands at this exhibit include M&S, Triumph, La Perla, Christian Dior, Elle Macpherson, Myla, Wonderbra and Wundervoll (as well as others).

Myla - Spring New Arrivals

We just received a wonderful Spring shipment from Myla, filled with several amazing and naughty styles! We typically don't do too many risque looks at our store, but we just couldn't resist with this collection. To see the full range, visit our website. It's the first time we actually had to censor our images (we just felt compelled to do so) because of the various peek-a-boo bralettes and the gorgeous Amelie 1/4 cup bra. But breast censors aside, these new pieces are killer!

We have noticed that quite a few of the panties in our boutique make quite a presentation from the back - don't you agree? From bows and ruffles to fun embroidery, there are such adorable options right now. Granted, most of these are 'special occasion' pieces - so you're not supposed to wonder if these will work under a pair of jeans. These are strictly for flaunting!

Myla in the Press (Their Own!)

Recently we've been featuring some of our favorite lingerie designers, as seen in the press. When doing a bit of research for British lingerie label Myla, we realized that their promo pictures were better than anything we had seen in the magazines. In fact, most of the press that Myla received used photos from their promo catalogue. That is most likely due to the fact that 'celebutante' heiress Lydia Hearst was used for their most recent catalogue campaign.

Basically, the whole point of us sharing our favorite images in the press is to show lingerie in its most high-fashion, stylish setting. As you can see, Myla does that quite well!
