We discovered this fun little application over on the Eres lingerie website; it's a lookbook for Karl Lagerfeld's joint collection with the French lingerie/swim powerhouse wherein each time you click on the dressed model she gets stripped down to her lingerie or bikini (no worries, it doesn't strip off more than that!). The retro-styled model is just too cute, and of course the Eres/Lagerfeld designs don't disappoint.
Karl Lagerfeld actually photographed model Emily Didonato in a "fashion tale" series that pair Eres pieces with clothing from its sister label Chanel. Lagerfeld's message is that the stylish, well-dressed woman who wears Chanel ready-to-wear only wears the finest pieces underneath.
Makes sense to us. As far as we go, we have the Eres lingerie, we just need the Chanel clothing!

Chanel as You've Never Seen It!

Karl Lagerfeld is notorious for his unkind remarks toward curvy women, and in direct response to his widely criticized attitude, he and V Magazine teamed up to create this photo shoot. We have to admit that it is eye-catching and a lot of fun!
The model, Miss Dirty Martini, poses with a Coco Chanel look-alike in the famed 31 rue Cambon atelier.
The lingerie-themed shoot includes pieces personally owned by Miss Martini (such as that fabulous fringe bra) and items by Chantal Thomass, Rigby & Peller, Dolce & Gabbana and Comme des Garçons. Of course all of the accessories are Chanel, including the new Chanel temporary tattoos and brooches which were used as pasties! Ahh, Chanel pasties...who would have thought!

This shoot, by Karl Lagerfeld for ELLE Italy, was inspired by the works of surrealists artists Man Ray and Salvador Dali. Of course we spotted some lovely intimates, such as a tulle bustier by Nina Ricci, a fashionably retro girdle by Christian Dior and a lilac satin guepiere by Gaultier Paris. The images are sophisticated with just the right touch of quirkiness. We love how the shoot was accessorized, from the opera-length gloves to the fun headpieces. How cute is that first picture with the 'Karl' panties?! That entire ensemble is adorable, even the satin bow around the waist. Here are a few pictures of Claudia Schiffer (our longtime favorite!) as photographed by Karl Lagerfeld for Vogue Germany (October 2009). Some of the lingerie includes pieces from Chantal Thomass, Fogal hosiery, Agent Provocateur, Myla, Lascivious & Moschino. Claudia can wear anything and look amazing...but the cute lingerie certainly does help!
