Zinke - Faire Frou Frou New Arrivals!

The Souvenir collection by Zinke has finally arrived at Faire Frou Frou!  We gave you a little sneak peek of this fabulous new group a few months back, which certainly stirred up some excitement with our customers.  The new collection includes a variety of Zinke's signature rompers, bralets and ruched-back panties in a new assortment of colors and textures.  The Fall color palette is great for mix & matching with smoky lilac, lake blue, gravel gray and rust-colored accents.  With each season Zinke grows in popularity, which makes us extremely proud.  We have a feeling once the world sees this season's designs that its popularity will only skyrocket!

So, do share, which piece is your favorite?  We just posted the collection to our website and it's already selling quickly...we're glad we snagged our favorite pieces in time!

Sugar or Spice? Our Utterly Engaged Feature

We were flattered to have been asked by the ladies of Utterly Engaged to contribute to their latest issue (with the theme Sugar and Spice).  Our assignment was to design a honeymoon evening around two types of brides; the sugary/sweet girl and the spicy/more risque girl.  We built our 2 honeymoon experiences around lingerie from our shop; the sweet girl wearing a Zinke 'Party at the Raleigh' romper and the Spice wearing the very popular Lascivious 'Midori' bodysuit.  Once the lingerie was established, it was pretty easy to fill in the blanks from there and select drinks, music, make-up & more to compliment each look.  Check out our feature on pages 190-193 for all of the details (and links for where to purchase)!  

As a side note, our shop is also shown on page 241 with a segment on the ladies from Sitting in a Tree.  They styled our boutique for a photo shoot with Rue Magazine that was done a couple of months ago.  A double dose of Faire Frou Frou!

Zinke - Collins Ave Collection - Spring 2011

If you suddenly feel the urge to book a trip to Miami Beach and lay poolside at the Raleigh Hotel, you are not alone.  The Spring 2011 Zinke collection was designed with Miami in mind; specifically the sunny destination spot Collins Avenue. Naturally a few of the pieces in the new collection are named after famous Miami hotels (the Carlyle, the Raleigh...) and every piece will have you yearning for sunny days and swaying palm trees.  This season the Zinke designers Arin & Jessie were inspired by the "energy, vibrancy and art deco architecture" of Miami which translates in their cheerful use of color: pool blue, flamingo pink, sand dollar ivory and chartreuse green.
