Fleur of England continues to make our hearts go pitter-patter with the debut of its new Spring 2012 collection.  The first two groups to be unveiled are Naked and Love.  Seems pretty appropriate considering the launch being so close to Valentine's Day.  Both groups capture the elegance and sophistication we're accustomed to with Fleur's work.
Naked is the ultimate nude collection. Romance and elegance are combined with luxury to create this ‘barely there’ look using signature Fleur of England French eyelash lace in a seductive shade of nude.  In contrast, Love is made from transparent Italian scarlet tulle that's elegantly defined by luxury scarlet and fuchsia French leaver’s lace. Candy pink silk sweetens the collection with ties and cuffs.

For those of you who have been to our Studio City boutique you've probably noticed that we have always carried a small selection of greeting cards (naturally a little something to go with the perfect gift of lingerie).  Today we are super excited to share our latest shipment with you from Rifle Paper Co.  There was no resisting the cuteness of their Valentine's cards!  Attached are a few images showing you some of the darling little items we picked out.

Valentine's Day is Almost Here...

Madame V

We get quite a few emails/phone calls inquiring about when we will receive a new collection from Madame V...and the answer is, we won't (for now). Though they have a lovely, updated website, the brand has not created any new collections in about a year. Luckily you can still order some of the classic pieces that were once carried at Faire Frou Frou on the Madame V website, and we've posted some of those favorites here!
As for if and when they will design something new...that remains to be seen. We would love to see this brand make a comeback! Typically when a popular brand pretty much disappears for no apparent reason, it's due to lack of proper management from investment companies. Sometimes quality control is not what it should be, and production ends up compromised. We're not sure if this is what happened to Madame V, but we've seen similar things happen to other lingerie brands. In any event, we eagerly await their big comeback!
