The Lake & Stars - new pieces at Faire Frou Frou

We have these pieces (Truce & Trick Date) available at Faire Frou Frou now!!

We are finally getting around to adding the new pieces from The Lake & Stars to our online store and blog! The pictures in this post represent 2 new groups; Truce and Trick Date.
Basically the Truce pieces are those with the mesh & net strips across the front of the tops. The Trick Date pieces are those with the contrast ribbon trim on the tops (pink with orange ribbon, navy blue with green ribbon). Both groups are just lovely and true to The Lake & Stars style, which is an assortment of modern, feminine and fashion-forward designs.
We actually have the entire collection in stock, but haven't quite gotten everything online as of this moment (should be soon!)...let us know if there's something you're wanting.
You should know that Nikki & Maayan from TLS were featured in the July issue of W Magazine as one of "this year's breakout young designers". Both designers are shown below, along with a model wearing one of their pieces (6th, 7th & 8th from left). Congratulations ladies!!!

Truce - by The Lake & Stars

The latest group from The Lake & Stars, Truce, is now in stock! This collection is so adorable - even photos don't do it justice! This weekend alone, while price-tagging the new arrivals, and we sold almost all of the Truce Camisoles on the spot!
This collection is made from silk chiffon and ethereal ribbons of tulle and metallic cotton. You are probably thinking the Truce camisole looks vaguely familiar - and it is. It is the Spring 2009 version of the "We're on Break" camisole that was featured in "Sex & The City: The Movie". The desingers, Maayan and Nikki, recommend that you wear the romper and camisole from this group as outerwear; "These featherweight pieces can be worn alone or paired with a tank top and jeans or a high waisted skirt...We like to pair the bra top with an opaque top and a high waisted full skirt". We couldn't agree more! The designers also state that the "ivory pieces are a perfect purchase for the bride-to-be who is searching for the item which is not to frilly, yet sensual sensual and modern".
