Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers was one of the brands we recently took a look at in NYC, which included their current collection as shown above. One of our favorite products was the Bardot shirt, shown at the very top - it's got that 'loungewear cross-over to ready-to-wear' look that we love! The rest of the collection is simple and sweet, with a touch of naughty and sexy.
Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers (formerly known as SPANK...but changed the name due to similarities with the name SPANX...or so we heard) is a UK label that "create[s] beautiful, sexy, affordable, and above all, comfortable underwear in natural fabrics, for women of all shapes and sizes." Their bra sizes range from 30E and 32A to 36DD (UK sizes), which makes it an ideal brand for ladies with a small back, and small to very full busts.

You Asked...

It turns out that our former header on the blog generated a lot of interest - everyone wants to know who designed the high-waisted panties in the pictures! We are happy to let you know that the pictures are from the Alessandro Dell'Acqua S/S08 runway, Bottega Veneta and La Perla runway (though we think it's an older season show).
In this month's Harper's Bazaar, the Alessandro Dell'Acqua images are featured as well as some high-waisted panties from Gianfranco Ferre and Miu Miu. We're snatching up all of the designer high-waisted panties that we can get, and currently have styles from Mint Siren and Fifi Chachnil in our boutique. We have since sold out of The Lake & Stars high-waisted knickers, but expect to see more of the style in future shipments.
Attached is the image from Bazaar magazine which features some of the panties just mentioned. We are also including it because some of our favorite lingerie brands (sold at FFF) are included: Mimi Holliday, Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers, Made by Niki and Myla. Congratulations to our designers who were featured!

Edie Britt (Nicolette Sheridan) on Desperate Housewives!

Did you see the season premiere of Desperate Housewives last night? If so, you saw one of the costumes provided by Faire Frou Frou! We dressed our customer Nicolette Sheridan (and costumer Cate Adair!) for her role as Edie Britt...the wardrobe department requested an innocent, yet flirty set for her to wear to seduce Carlos. So, she ended up wearing the SPANK (Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers) Flirt Nightgown, Shorts and Padded Bra in Ivory. We also paired the outfit with a pair of Jacques Levine marabou slippers!

Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers...SPANK!

U.K. brand, Sexy Panties and Naughty Knickers (which is also known as SPANK) is a delightfully feminine line that specializes in 100% silk chiffon pieces. The designs are simple and without fuss...no prints, and no excess.
One of our favorite pieces is the short Nightie (shown in pink and blue), which does indeed have 2 rows of ruffles on its hem, but overall is light, airy and delicate. It almost looks like a ballerina dress - so cute!! Almost the entire collection is offered in either Ivory, Black, Pale Blue, and Fluorescent Pink (and some pieces in Pale Pink).
We also love the bras and panties...the bras are available with or without underwire, and the bottoms come as briefs, thongs or shorts.
