BODY Magazine - Retail Profile

We just were told that Faire Frou Frou received a write-up in BODY Magazine...this is a lingerie trade publication that covers all aspects of the intimate apparel industry. In any event, the magazine did a retail profile on our boutique (which we were interviewed for a few months back), and they have the article featured on their website.

ID Sarrieri in the Press

As we countdown to the launch of our new Fall arrivals (later this month), we are featuring some of our most popular brands as seen in the press.
This post features the media mentions for ID Sarrieri lingerie. ID Sarrieri embodies sophisticated glamour in its designs, and has timeless appeal. Naturally, this brand has been featured in a number of publications including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, and Madame Figaro (just to name a few).

Below are images from the ID Sarrieri Spring/Summer 2008 catalogue. All of their photographs are incredible...flawless. They really do an amazing job having created a fashion-forward catalogue that is up-to-par with their high-fashion designs. Their pictures look like they're from a Vogue editorial (or at least privy to Vogue airbrushing!)...is anyone really that perfect looking?!?! At least we know that their lingerie is!

As we gear up for the arrival of our Fall/Winter lingerie collections (just a few more weeks!), we wanted to highlight the buzz/press about some of our best-selling lingerie brands.

We're starting with Damaris and Mimi Holliday. As most of you know, both of these brands are designed by Damaris Evans, though each represents a different price point.
Not only is Damaris a favorite with our customers, she's also loved by the press which is evident through her multiple credits in Vogue, Elle, W, Glamour, Maxim and many more magazines in 2008 alone!

Slip into the Past

While we were doing our posts on lingerie through the decades (so far we've covered 1930s-1960s), our search kept taking us to the blog 'A Slip of a Girl'. This blog is filled with vintage lingerie images, as well as vintage lingerie for sale. These antique images are just too cute, and so sweet!

Andres Sarda - Lingerie on the Catwalk

We love it when a high-end lingerie label does a runway show, and almost every season we can count on Andres Sarda to strut its stuff on the catwalk. We have posted on Andres Sarda before, but for those of you just joining our blog, Sarda is a nearly 50-year-old luxury lingerie label from Barcelona.
The images shown here are from its Fall/Winter 2008 show. To be honest, we've seen better runway pictures from this brand in the past, but these are certainly worth showing. The above images look very ready-to-wear, and the bottom images are very much lingerie. We would like to see more images of the nude/shimmer outfit (below on the blonde) - it looks like something we would have purchased, if we could (you know how it is with runway...it's not always a reality when it comes to the actual pieces sold in stores).
