What immediately struck us about these images is that they seem to be a modern interpretation of Lillian Bassman's iconic lingerie images.  Though no matter where photographer Nikolay Biryukov found his inspiration, we love the classic simplicity of each shot.  A simple La Perla bra packs quite a punch with the dramatic lighting and striking poses.  We wonder if we will be admiring these images years from now, just as we have with Bassman's work?

Eres Lingerie - Understated Elegance

There is something quite incredible about Eres Lingerie; it can take the simplest design concept and make it chic and elegant.  As many of you know, Eres is a luxury lingerie label based out of Paris (we visited their showroom housed in the Chanel offices!), and produces designs that have clean lines typically made from Leavers lace and/or tulle, bras that work to create a beautiful natural shape (no push-up Victoria's Secret styles here), and never any fussy embroidery.  We think this is the perfect brand for ladies who want everyday lingerie with a sophisticated style. Sockbox - Luxury Lingerie

It's always fun to discover a brand that embraces our frou-frou spirit, which is why we're pleased to share our favorite pieces from the designer SockBox.  Though the brand was established in 2008, it was with the magic of our Pinterest page that we discovered this Latvian label!  Sweeping, dramatic lace and polka dot accents were enough to get our attention, and of course a variety of designs in simple yet luxurious neutrals make these pieces timeless.  We love that Sockbox not only creates lingerie and nightwear, but that it also creates matching hosiery as well as darling matching garter belts & straps.  Each item is handmade from the highest quality fabric and lace, and certainly made for the lady seeking to add a dose of glamour to her life. 

Sockbox just recently launched an online store, so these pieces and quite a few more are available on their website!  And who knows, maybe one day you will see them at Faire Frou Frou!
