We just re-stocked the Spring 2012 collection of The Little Bra Company here at Faire Frou Frou, and now all styles are available on our website!  The style we are most excited about this season is the Elizabeth (shown at the top of the post) which is a padded push-up sports bra (which means there's no underwire).  Since we're not particularly athletic, we simply love that you get all of the cleavage with a super amount of comfort...you can sleep in it if you want.  The Little Bra Company (TLBC) is a lingerie line that caters to A & B-cup ladies (and some C-cups!) and depending on the level of padding in the style you wear it can make you appear a full cup-size larger than you are.  The Lucia style (shown in geranium pink above) is probably the most padded va-va-voom style we carry.  The Elizabeth is probably the least padded of all of the styles.  Anyhow, TLBC has a well-rounded range of styles from its racerback sports bra, to its multi-way strapless, to its variety of t-shirt and fashion bras.  For those of you interested in purchasing a TLBC bra, please note that most styles run small in the band (so you most-likely order up a band size if you're uncertain where you fall).

Carine Gilson - Lingerie Couture - Summer 2012

Forget about waiting until June, Summer is officially here now that the new Summer 2012 collection from Carine Gilson has launched!  It is a Frou Frou Fashionista tradition to feature the latest work of our favorite luxury lingerie designer, Carine Gilson.  It gives us great pleasure to discover her latest treasures, and it's always exciting to see the new colors and shapes being used.  The above images are some of our favorite pieces from the current season.  We have to admit that we wish there was more of the lingerie-as-outerwear selection that we saw in Fall/Winter '11, but otherwise the designs we see here are flawless (as usual).  We leave you now to scroll back up through this post and make a mental wishlist of bras/panties/loungewear that you are coveting.

Glitter Guide & Faire Frou Frou!

We celebrate Mother's Day in a big way at Faire Frou Frou, and what better way to honor our mother-daughter-owned business than with a feature in Glitter Guide!  Glitter Guide is an inspire-style website that seems to have shot to superstardom in its relatively short existence; the site consistently showcases the crème de la crème of various industries with a heavy focus on fashion and glamour.  With that in mind, we are honored to be part of their Mother's Day Shop Talk series.  Not only did we receive an amazing interview, but we had a chance to be photographed by LA-based photographer Tim Melideo (who first caught our eye a while back with his pin-up portrait series).  As you can see, he did an incredible job capturing our boutique and the silliness that ensues between boutique owners / mother-daughter team Gail & Alison Rubke.

Kriss Soonik's Rebel Bride

Kriss Soonik Loungerie wows us once again as she unveils her latest collection, the Rebel Bride.  Just in time for wedding season, we are presented with pieces that are a twist on the classic Kriss Soonik styles.  The Rebel Bride features designs in honeymoon white with a touch of rock 'n' roll, which really captures the essence of the modern bride.  As usual, there is the underwear as outerwear element to some of the styles, such as the garter tank top or the lace bodysuit styles.  
The new collection is sure to make for a blushing bride...and a blushing groom!
