Forget about waiting until June, Summer is officially here now that the new Summer 2012 collection from Carine Gilson has launched!  It is a Frou Frou Fashionista tradition to feature the latest work of our favorite luxury lingerie designer, Carine Gilson.  It gives us great pleasure to discover her latest treasures, and it's always exciting to see the new colors and shapes being used.  The above images are some of our favorite pieces from the current season.  We have to admit that we wish there was more of the lingerie-as-outerwear selection that we saw in Fall/Winter '11, but otherwise the designs we see here are flawless (as usual).  We leave you now to scroll back up through this post and make a mental wishlist of bras/panties/loungewear that you are coveting.

I.D. Sarrieri Lingerie - Through the Lens of Barna Nemethi

One of the good things about luxury lingerie is that there are usually beautiful editorials to accompany it.  That is the case with I.D. Sarrieri, a Romanian designer lingerie brand that recently teamed up with photographer Barna Nemethi for the photos you see here.  Most of the images are a collaboration with All Hollow, which is more or less an online periodical (see more here).  The fact that they featured I.D. Sarrieri makes us instant fans.  The first 2 images are our favorite, which are yours?

With just one glance at the latest ID Sarrieri Fall 2010 collection you get an immediate lesson on what luxury lingerie looks like.  Chantilly lace, Swarovski crystals, silk georgette and satin combine to create a feast for the eyes.  Designer Iulia Dobrin knows how to create high-fashion pieces that maintain a classic, timeless appeal. 
We like how this is likely the 3rd time this month we have included a lace blindfold on our blog...from Maison Close to Carine Gilson, it seems to be the lingerie accessory to have!  Even we did a recent pin-up lingerie shoot at Faire Frou Frou and the lace eye-mask was one of our key pieces.  Sometimes it's those little accessories that add just the right touch of personality to an ensemble...even if it's your lingerie! 
Once again ID Sarrieri has hit a home-run this season with the new collection.  The tiered lace ruffle panties is an item we're particularly liking.  Which piece do you have on your wishlist?

ID Sarrieri - Bringin' Sexy Black

Last week we did a post on 'ID Sarrieri - The Neutrals', so now it's time for the traditional sexy black! Really, there's no going wrong with black lingerie; it's our best-seller in the store! We love the pieces in this post, particularly the top 2 images. The lace bustier is a timeless beauty, and that black velvet cut-out bodysuit is killer!
We would just like to acknowledge in advance that the model is pretty skinny...but we've seen skinnier in other posts (yikes!!). Skinny model aside, the shoot is perfectly styled and well-photographed.
