With just one glance at the latest ID Sarrieri Fall 2010 collection you get an immediate lesson on what luxury lingerie looks like.  Chantilly lace, Swarovski crystals, silk georgette and satin combine to create a feast for the eyes.  Designer Iulia Dobrin knows how to create high-fashion pieces that maintain a classic, timeless appeal. 
We like how this is likely the 3rd time this month we have included a lace blindfold on our blog...from Maison Close to Carine Gilson, it seems to be the lingerie accessory to have!  Even we did a recent pin-up lingerie shoot at Faire Frou Frou and the lace eye-mask was one of our key pieces.  Sometimes it's those little accessories that add just the right touch of personality to an ensemble...even if it's your lingerie! 
Once again ID Sarrieri has hit a home-run this season with the new collection.  The tiered lace ruffle panties is an item we're particularly liking.  Which piece do you have on your wishlist?

More Reasons to Love I.D. Sarrieri!

We are in the process of adding some new I.D. Sarrieri products to our online store, and in the process found some beautiful pictures we wanted to share with you. These images are from an I.D. Sarrieri runway show (likely in 2007).
Just look at how beautiful these pieces are - it's brands like I.D. Sarrieri that really do a great job representing what luxury lingerie looks like. You can tell right away what fine Chantilly lace and satin silk they use.
Some of these runway pieces never made it into the mainstream collection (as far as we know), which is a shame because Faire Frou Frou customers would love to have them!!
Included here is a picture of Iulia Dobrin, the designer of the Romanian lingerie line I.D. Sarrieri, with supermodel Adriana Karembeu at the runway show.

Meet the "I.D." of I.D. Sarrieri

It was such a pleasure to meet the face behind one of our favorite brands, I.D. Sarrieri.
It turns out that the I.D. stands for the designer's name which is Iulia Dobrin. We were so surprised that this young woman was the mastermind behind such an incredibly large brand...in just 5 years she has made I.D. Sarrieri an international sensation!
Attached are a few images from her Spring/Summer 2007 collection which we just LOVE! Almost every piece we purchased for Faire Frou Frou has beautiful Chantilly lace and silk. The green & black set shown comes in a variety of lovely colors such as a blush pink, ivory and a very subtle gold. One of our favorite pieces is the nude/gold Chantilly lace bodysuit with Swarovski crystals...we also ordered the chemise and bra/panty sets in that group which are equally amazing.

The Spring/Summer collection makes its debut at Faire Frou Frou later this June.
