I.D. Sarrieri Lingerie - Through the Lens of Barna Nemethi

One of the good things about luxury lingerie is that there are usually beautiful editorials to accompany it.  That is the case with I.D. Sarrieri, a Romanian designer lingerie brand that recently teamed up with photographer Barna Nemethi for the photos you see here.  Most of the images are a collaboration with All Hollow, which is more or less an online periodical (see more here).  The fact that they featured I.D. Sarrieri makes us instant fans.  The first 2 images are our favorite, which are yours?

Dazzling New ID Sarrieri - Fall 2011

The Fall 2011 collection from ID Sarrieri was recently unveiled on the designer's website...which means it's time to start writing your wish lists now! As is customary for this luxury lingerie label from Romania we see beautiful shapes in delicate Chantilly lace.  We also are seeing lots of dazzling details with the Swarovski crystal accents!  We love the simplicity of the plain lace pieces and the excitement of the crystal-accented pieces, which pretty much means we want everything you see here.

With just one glance at the latest ID Sarrieri Fall 2010 collection you get an immediate lesson on what luxury lingerie looks like.  Chantilly lace, Swarovski crystals, silk georgette and satin combine to create a feast for the eyes.  Designer Iulia Dobrin knows how to create high-fashion pieces that maintain a classic, timeless appeal. 
We like how this is likely the 3rd time this month we have included a lace blindfold on our blog...from Maison Close to Carine Gilson, it seems to be the lingerie accessory to have!  Even we did a recent pin-up lingerie shoot at Faire Frou Frou and the lace eye-mask was one of our key pieces.  Sometimes it's those little accessories that add just the right touch of personality to an ensemble...even if it's your lingerie! 
Once again ID Sarrieri has hit a home-run this season with the new collection.  The tiered lace ruffle panties is an item we're particularly liking.  Which piece do you have on your wishlist?

Dedication to Lace

We were taking a few photos for a client of ours today, and fell in love with the detail of this piece. It's an I.D. Sarrieri bra (now sold out) that's made of an intricately woven Chantilly lace. When you see these details, and how much attention goes into creating such a gorgeous piece, you get a better idea of why these pieces are priced the way they are. The technique for creating this lace goes back hundreds of years, and is still used today by some of the finest lingerie designers such as I.D. Sarrieri. Details like this are why we love what we do.

ID Sarrieri - Fall 2009

Ahh, ID Sarrieri, what a beautiful lingerie brand. We often compare this label to La Perla in terms of its classic, elegant and upscale style...and perhaps it's even more high-end (that's open to debate). In any event, it is one of the world's top lingerie lines that is simply striking.
We have carried the brand at Faire Frou Frou in the past (see some sale items here), and we wish we were selling the new Fall collection as shown above (but issues with our temporary boutique closure aren't helping matters). Not only are the pieces so beautiful, but the photographs are amazing as well. Nothing but the best from this Romanian lingerie line.

ID Sarrieri - Bringin' Sexy Black

Last week we did a post on 'ID Sarrieri - The Neutrals', so now it's time for the traditional sexy black! Really, there's no going wrong with black lingerie; it's our best-seller in the store! We love the pieces in this post, particularly the top 2 images. The lace bustier is a timeless beauty, and that black velvet cut-out bodysuit is killer!
We would just like to acknowledge in advance that the model is pretty skinny...but we've seen skinnier in other posts (yikes!!). Skinny model aside, the shoot is perfectly styled and well-photographed.

There are so many amazing pieces from the current ID Sarrieri collection that we need to break it up into 2 posts! Today's post features the neutral, lighter-colored pieces from Spring/Summer 2009. In true ID Sarrieri form, each item is a classic beauty.

With bridal season upon us, we thought it fitting to do a post on 'bridal lingerie'. Of course, beautiful white lingerie is not just limited to brides! Most of our non-bridal customers are those who are buying pieces like what you see in this post! And we completely understand that - who could resist such pretty pieces?
Now that we think about it, we will likely do another post next week featuring bridal blue lingerie...as well as affordable suggestions for bridal shower/bachelorette party gifts.
