Eres Lingerie - Understated Elegance

There is something quite incredible about Eres Lingerie; it can take the simplest design concept and make it chic and elegant.  As many of you know, Eres is a luxury lingerie label based out of Paris (we visited their showroom housed in the Chanel offices!), and produces designs that have clean lines typically made from Leavers lace and/or tulle, bras that work to create a beautiful natural shape (no push-up Victoria's Secret styles here), and never any fussy embroidery.  We think this is the perfect brand for ladies who want everyday lingerie with a sophisticated style. The images above are from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection and currently available to purchase here.

Victoria Beckham Shows Off Her Undies!

How could we not post the latest photos from Marie Claire with all of the wonderful lingerie on display!  Perhaps we are most excited to see the Bordelle bodysuit (aka Girdle Dress) particularly since we just started carrying the brand at our boutique (just see our last post).  Also, the cover of the magazine features the limited edition Jean Paul Gaultier for La Perla bra that so many of you loved along with Eres panties.  There are actually two covers for the November 2010 issue, with the alternate being the picture of Victoria wearing the leopard jacket (with Eres panties).
We love that luxury lingerie is so prominently being displayed in such a beautiful shoot!

Lara Stone for Eres

The Fall Winter 09-10 images for the Eres campaign were recently released, featuring Dutch model Lara Stone. What a perfectly styled shoot, with the bedhead curls and the bedroom eyes. It's likely that these new pieces will start hitting stores in August or thereabouts.

We are pleased to share these images of Hungarian model Eniko Mihalik from V Magazine. We love how they look like they could have been taken in the late 1960s, but were just recently shot in 2009. That's the timeless appeal of lingerie, particularly brands such as Eres (shown above) that create classic collections that you will look stylish in year after year!

Eres Swimwear 2009

While looking over the Norma Kamali swimwear yesterday, we couldn't help but be reminded of the current Eres swimwear group. It too has a retro look, though a bit more understated with a little less frou-frou. Of course Eres is known for their elegant swimwear, and for the past 11 years they have created luxury lingerie as well.
We were fortunate to view the collection in person, and were delighted to see numerous styles and color options. The only problem is that Eres does not show many of their designs online, so we only have a handful of images to share with you. If you can make it into one of their boutiques, we think you would enjoy seeing the full group - we remember just loving so many of the swimsuits! In the meantime, enjoy these pictures with one of our favorite models, Hilary Rhoda.
