Pieroni Pin-Ups

Wouldn't it be so much fun to do a pin-up shoot like these with the talented Carlo Pieroni? If only he did 'civilian' portraits, we would stand a chance! He just might be the worldwide front-runner in pin-up photography...though we also love the pin-up work of Norman Jean Roy and Danielle Bedics!
This is exactly how we enjoy seeing lingerie; flirty, cheeky and a hint of innocence mixed with a bad girl twist. His photographs practically look like a Vargas painting mixed with an Olivia painting...or at least the models/poses are very Vargas-esque. That effect is likely due to the fact that he mixes illustration with his photos as displayed in the images above.

The Pin-Up

Juan Gatti for Vogue Spain

Vogue España and photographer Juan Gatti teamed up to do this adorable Pin-Up photo shoot...so cute! The digital editing makes the photos appear as though they are paintings, which is a nice touch. Unfortunately, we did not find any credits for the lingerie (we can't read the blurry credits shown on the first page)...and we don't really recognize any of the pieces. Our favorite is the white ruffle bikini set, as shown with the white poodle. Pin-up photography is so adorable, no wonder it's such a classic!

Danielle Bedics, pinup photographer extraordinaire, has just launched her new website. She is not only a talented photographer who has worked with the biggest names in the pinup world (ahem, Dita von Teese), but she is also accessible to ladies such as you and I who would like a portrait done. Really, what better way to show off your cute little undies than with a fun, sweet photo shoot! We work with a lot of customers who put together the most darling ensembles for their pinup portraits - we love it! Actually, if you dig down enough in Danielle's website, you will find one of our very own portraits that we did with her (luckily it's very little so you can't zoom in!!).  We ended up wearing head-to-toe Fifi Chachnil for shoot with Danielle.
We can't wait to work with Danielle Bedics again!
