The Hunted - Hopeless Lingerie's Latest Collection

Hopeless Lingerie strikes again with yet another hauntingly beautiful set of images for the introduction of their fourth range.  The Hunted is the name of the new collection, with an amazing photoshoot that sets these sweet little intimates in an eerie setting. Many of the new items are made from modal jersey and/or bamboo jersey, which means these pieces are not only sexy but the ultimate in comfort! 

Each piece is made-to-order by the Hopeless team (the designer Gaby) in Melbourne, Australia.  You can order from the brand's newly launched online store (they were previously only sold on Etsy), which includes some wonderful accessories and best-sellers from their previous seasons.

Become a Vintage Pin-Up with What Katie Did

If vintage-inspired lingerie is your thing, then What Katie Did is a brand you need to know about!  We were incredibly excited to receive our latest shipment from the UK brand, which included bullet bras, girdles, corselettes and corsets!  Many of the images posted above are from the Maitresse group, which is filled with retro goodness and modeled by iconic modern pin-up Bernie Dexter! 

In researching WKD, we learned that the process of creating a bullet bra takes a specially-skilled seamstress to create the perfectly symmetrical cone stitching.  You can select a bullet bra with or without padding (we took ours with it), and of course you will want to wear the matching girdle and backseam stockings.  Interestingly, we wore a What Katie Did bullet bra for the first time this past weekend and really felt empowered wearing it...we called it our 'secret weapon'!  When worn with a loose-fitting top, the points of the cups weren't that obvious...but when worn with a form-fitting sweater, watch out!

We're expecting a lot of Bettie Page (btw look at her website) fans to pick up this set...especially if you're like us and dressing like her this year for a Halloween party!

Victoria Beckham Shows Off Her Undies!

How could we not post the latest photos from Marie Claire with all of the wonderful lingerie on display!  Perhaps we are most excited to see the Bordelle bodysuit (aka Girdle Dress) particularly since we just started carrying the brand at our boutique (just see our last post).  Also, the cover of the magazine features the limited edition Jean Paul Gaultier for La Perla bra that so many of you loved along with Eres panties.  There are actually two covers for the November 2010 issue, with the alternate being the picture of Victoria wearing the leopard jacket (with Eres panties).
We love that luxury lingerie is so prominently being displayed in such a beautiful shoot!

Bordelle; Lingerie That's Oh-So-Bad & Oh-So-Good!

We are hard-pressed to come up with a brand that has merged high-end luxury with S&M sensuality quite like Bordelle.  This UK label recently unveiled its Autumn/Winter 2010 collection which just so happens to be sold at Faire Frou Frou (ahem, buy it here).  The Fall season is consistent with the bondage-chic, S&M light looks of Bordelle's past, with a few elegant additions that include the Bugsy quilted silk bra, panty & bodysuit.  The new season also includes optional fur trims to step-up the luxe factor of select pieces (though we didn't bring in any of the fur bra straps you see in the pictures above, just the detachable panty pom-pom). Bordelle is perhaps best-known for its elastic bandage-strap pieces, particularly the Angela chemise.  These best-selling styles have been extended through the current season with some slight updates and additions. 
We were definitely awe-struck when we received our Bordelle shipment at Faire Frou Frou.  To see it in pictures is one thing, to see it in person is another.  The beautiful details and perfection of each item makes Bordelle well-worth adding to your lingerie ensemble!
