Minding Her Business

We were pleasantly surprised to hear from Cynthia Martyn, host of the blog Minding Her Business. As described on her site, "Cynthia Martyn is a Certified Coach who mentors women entrepreneurs to create businesses that bring them personal joy and professional prosperity." That being said, Faire Frou Frou was selected as a business profile on her blog with the intention of inspiring or guiding other women with hopes of building their own business.
Cynthia's site is a great resource, especially when we think back to when we were starting Faire Frou Frou, and how much we valued those who shared their stories of starting a retail business with us (a special thank you to Michelle of Emerald Forest gift boutique in Studio City, CA for sharing her advice with us!).

Mimi Holliday Swim; Poolside Cutie!

This is the time of year that the cute bathing suits come out, and we are proud to say that we have a few fun pieces that you are sure to love! Two of our favorite brands, Fleur T and Mimi Holliday, have introduced a swim collection for this Spring/Summer season. Fleur T has the Driftwood collection, and then there's the "Mimi on Holliday" debut beachwear group. Both of these designers have created something fresh, sweet and oh-so-flattering!
Let's begin with Mimi Holliday: we currently have one of her bikini sets, and her cotton tunic cover-ups, which are certain to be a hit! For Fleur T, we have a few bikini styles that come in a brown or brown/creme gingham print.

Fleur of England - Pure White Sugar

Our latest group from UK designer Fleur T is just a breath of fresh air! This light, airy collection is simply lovely; made from orchid white silk satin complimented by orchid French leavers lace. This new group is called "Pure White Sugar" and this is one of those fashion groups that can actually get a lot of everyday use. The Lace Balcony Bra and the Padded Balcony Bra are both smooth enough to wear under a blouse/shirt and the thong certainly works well under pants/skirts. Needless to say, this isn't your everyday t-shirt bra, but you can certainly find plenty of occasions to wear it!
We just went wild with this group, stocking everything from the Garter Belts and Garter Briefs, to the Hipster Thong, Shortie, Babydoll, Boudoir and Balcony Bras, and Camisole.
We love the delicate white lace/silk combination, and the floral orchid print tastefully accents each piece.
We also highly recommend this collection to the Bride-to-Be, since a lot of our customers are looking for bridal whites!

Bridal Gift Registry

It seems like bridal season is upon us! Many of our customers are either purchasing bridal presents, or they are brides requesting a bridal registry. That being said, we just want to remind you that we do provide Bridal Registry at Faire Frou Frou.
Our Bridal Registry service is available in our Studio City boutique, though we get A LOT of customers ordering bridal gifts over the phone or online. Just an FYI, once our new website is launched, we will offer bridal registry on www.fairefroufrou.com.
In the meantime, if you are a Bride, just come in to our boutique and we can get the registry process started.
If you are buying for the Bride, then just stop in or call/email us. We have worked with many out-of-state customers, so we are set-up to accommodate customers via phone/email.

Nina Ricci

We are so proud to announce that we now carry Nina Ricci lingerie at Faire Frou Frou. This classic French label was founded in 1932 and is famous for its refined, romantic and feminine designs. Olivier Theyskens is the creative director of the ready-to-wear collection, which has positioned the label as a major front-runner in the world of luxury.
For the Nina Ricci lingerie group, we just received the Glycines collection. This collection is beautifully constructed from Levers lace, and had a light and airy feel. Included are a few pictures from the new collection (shown in black), and we only purchased it in White for Spring. The remaining images (the light-colored sets) are from a previous season.
