What is the common thread through each of these photos?  They each have a detail or a full-fledged view of the work of some of our favorite lingerie designers!  Who do we spy but I.D. Sarrieri (blue lace bodysuit), Marlies Dekkers (that brilliant yellow bra), Mimi Holliday & Lascivious (the red ensemble), and snippets from Atsuko Kudo (black panties), Ell & Cee (nude panties), Bordelle (strappy waspie) and Reem Juan (lace bustier).  One of our favorite details in a couple of the pictures is the bright statement stockings (by Jonathan Aston).  Now if only the model had prettier eye makeup, we would find these pictures flawless!

Bordelle - Fall 2012 at Faire Frou Frou

We are so excited to share the new Fall 2012 Bordelle collection with you!  We love it, and based on the customer response to previous collections, we know you love it too!  Bordelle is the ultimate in luxury lingerie with an edgy bondage twist.  There's really nothing else quite like it, which makes this brand so special.  We have some favorites from this season, one of which is the Tutu Waspie.  The combination of bad-girl strappy combined with the tulle tutu skirt is beyond words!  Another favorite is the Voyeur Angela Dress, which is an amped-up version of the traditional style that the designer is known for.  The Voyeur Dress has a built-in peplum for a dramatic effect and detachable statement shoulder straps.  You can order a few of these styles with black Swarovski crystals to add some boldness on top of the dramatic!

Mirror, Mirror

What immediately struck us about these images is that they seem to be a modern interpretation of Lillian Bassman's iconic lingerie images.  Though no matter where photographer Nikolay Biryukov found his inspiration, we love the classic simplicity of each shot.  A simple La Perla bra packs quite a punch with the dramatic lighting and striking poses.  We wonder if we will be admiring these images years from now, just as we have with Bassman's work?
