Zinke - The American Summer Collection

Isn't it fun when you see a lingerie collection and just know what season it's meant for?  The Spring/Summer collection by Zinke is filled with citrus bright colors in airy silk.  The new pieces are now at Faire Frou Frou and filling our boutique with Springtime cheer!  What's so great about Zinke is that so many of the pieces mix and match together.  Get creative and layer a gauzy orange bralet with an orchid-color Crepe de Chine halter top, or wear the cropped Summer Crush top in lemon with an orange Montauk bralet...  What's also great is that so many items translate easily into outerwear, or at least add a pop of color with whatever top or dress you might be wearing.  We love when a collection offers so much potential!

We feel as though we have been neglecting our blog these days, cheating if you will, with the feast for the eyes that is Pinterest.  It seems as though Pinterest is the place to be, and rightly so, as we have been cultivating our own little garden of inspiration there for a few months. Apparently we are not the only ones taken by the charms of Pinterest, as it seems like there's been a recent explosion of interest in the site.  It is a nice alternative to the somewhat tired format of traditional blogging, and a great place for those of you looking for a quick-fix dose of eye-candy. 
Anyhow, for those of you looking for us on a daily basis, you should follow us on Pinterest and see the lingerie that inspires us, the goodies we covet, and so much more.  Also, you should know that we make a daily post on our Faire Frou Frou Facebook page.  And last, but not least, we have our Tumblr blog which also gets at least one post per day.  So many places to find us online, all of which (we hope) lead you to enjoy our darling lingerie boutique, Faire Frou Frou.

Murmur - Lingerie Inspired Outerwear

It seems as though more and more designers are making lingerie-as-outerwear easier for the average gal to accomplish.  However, some designers, such as Murmur are doing things the other way around; creating outerwear that is lingerie-inspired.  Granted, most of what we are featuring in this post is more lingerie-specific, but you can see the layering potential.  Designer Andreea Badala developed her label as a response to her belief that lingerie should not simply be limited to "under" wear...it should be "outer" wear.

Neon Season - Damaris S/S2012 Collection

The Damaris S/S 2012 collection definitely captures the biggest fashion trend of the season: Neon!  As is customary for Damaris, we see designs that are playful, daring and vibrant.  Delicate lace is paired with contrast color panels, and of course we see quite a few panties that show off the derriere.  All of the bras feature a deep-v front plunge (which was such a hit last season it was brought back again!) with underwire shaping and support.  Essentially, every item from the Spring season is gorgeous from front to back.  There's no denying that you will make a statement when wearing any of these pieces!

Janine Robin - the Paris Collection

Janine Robin is a family-run French lingerie company established in 1948 that specializes in lingerie and swimwear that offers incredible fit, support and style at fair prices. The latest Janine Robin collection to be presented with quite a bit of fanfare is aptly called Paris. Paris is a complete group of basics made of a smooth microfiber with ink jet laser-print lace in 3D (which means the pattern is always in the same place regardless of the size or cut). This technique also allows you to wash the product endlessly without having the colors fade. It comes in 2 colors ways: ivory micro-nylon with black lace print and blush micro-nylon with a cinnamon lace print. 

We brought in each style from the Paris collection from T-Shirt bras to Strapless and Push-Up styles, as well as the coordinating Thongs and Boyshorts.  We just launched the collection on our website, and we're eager to see the customer response to this group, particularly because there's something for 32A to 38E!
