Today's post is the first in a series of what will be our picks for Valentine's Day gifts! We already have a lot of ladies buying for themselves, and plenty of men have been shopping early too! We have more new arrivals being posted online in the next 2 days, and many of those items will be part of our Valentine's series.

The first, and perhaps most special recommendation for Valentine's Day is the limited edition collections from Made by Niki. We had posted on this brand just about a week ago, and now all of our limited edition pieces are available for sale online!

Most of these pieces are one of just 50 items created, so it's very much like owning a piece of artwork. Each of the bras and panties comes with its own detachable jewelry (whether it's gold chain, heart lockets, or rosary beads!).

Faire Frou Frou NOW OPEN on SUNDAYS!

Great news! Faire Frou Frou boutique (Studio City, CA) is now open on Sunday! Yes, it's long overdue, but the shop is now open every Sunday from 11:00am-4:30pm.
Of course, we also have our regular business hours of Monday-Friday 10-6pm, and Saturday 11-5:30pm. And if that's not enough, you can shop online (www.fairefroufrou.com) every hour of every day - which is strongly encouraged!

The new arrivals have been trickling in over the past few days, and we anticipate plenty more beautiful groups to come in over the next few weeks.

Old-Hollywood Glamour - French ELLE

It is always a pleasant surprise to see lingerie featured on the cover of a major fashion publication - and in this case it's French ELLE!

For February, the cover story features Laetitia Casta wearing an assortment of sexy lingerie pieces. We think that most of the lingerie is vintage, since we don't see any designer credits in the story (or at least we don't see any...if you know who did what, please let us know so we can give proper credit!).
What we particularly love about this shoot, and the reason why we're posting it, is to show how lingerie can be classic, sophisticated, stylish and glamorous. The theme of the shoot is a celebration glamour icons of the silver screen, and photographer Vincent Peters perfectly captured the look! All of these styles are something that can be worn underneath clothing, which shows how sexy intimate apparel can also be practical.

Some of our favorite old-Hollywood glamour pieces in our boutique are the Alice & Astrid Long Satin Silk Gown, and the Beau Bra Long Gown. Both pieces look so cute with the ivory Fifi Chachnil angora cardigan worn with it. Actually, pretty much anything by Fifi Chachnil has an old-Hollywood glamour style!

While we're busy at Faire Frou Frou with our SALE, and awaiting the arrival of our Spring/Summer collections (which we will post about as they arrive), we thought we would do a bit of high-fashion lingerie research. It's such a thrill to discover beautiful lingerie lines, and one of our longtime and somewhat unlikely favorites is Louis Vuitton!

Of course we don't carry their line at our boutique (we wish!), it certainly inspires us and their lingerie-inspired fashions keep us wanting more.
