These beautiful photographs by Paolo Roversi (who we have a tendency to stalk) showcase something quite new to us; a pair of customized stockings by Philippe Matignon worn in a very unusual or 'modern' way! The stockings and the undies are both designed by Matignon, with many of the pictures showing the stockings worn over the skirts and dresses as well as over the shoes! We love it! Now this is truly underwear as outerwear at its most fashion-forward.
We actually own a pair of Spanx tights that can be worn over the heel of your shoes, but it doesn't come close to being as chic as this! Stylist Olivier Rizzo did an amazing job putting the look together for these images.

I've always wanted to try the stockings over the heels look. GORGEOUS. What Spanx pair do you have?
ReplyDeleteIt's really a big problem among the girls that they do not care about their figure. The gravity will certainly make your breasts sagging if you are used to wear cloths without any bra. And to overcome this problem you must have to take notice on these tips. I hope you will feel better with your body figure when you will wear a bra.

ReplyDeleteHow close the sheers-over-the-shoe look is to the tights-over-the-boot look featured on the shapely legs of all the figure skaters up in Vancouver.
So sad to think what shape the lovely Matignon silks must have been in by the end of the shoot :( (I would have given them a nice home, hand washing, fresh air line drying, the whole 4 star deal)
Also interesting to see yet another twist on the current vogue of inner-wear as outerwear, actually turning the lingerie inside out.
