We get quite a few emails/phone calls inquiring about when we will receive a new collection from Madame V...and the answer is, we won't (for now). Though they have a lovely, updated website, the brand has not created any new collections in about a year. Luckily you can still order some of the classic pieces that were once carried at Faire Frou Frou on the Madame V website, and we've posted some of those favorites here!
As for if and when they will design something new...that remains to be seen. We would love to see this brand make a comeback! Typically when a popular brand pretty much disappears for no apparent reason, it's due to lack of proper management from investment companies. Sometimes quality control is not what it should be, and production ends up compromised. We're not sure if this is what happened to Madame V, but we've seen similar things happen to other lingerie brands. In any event, we eagerly await their big comeback!
On a separate note...you need to start shopping for Valentine's Day! Get started here.

I remember the Madame V Opium collection being one of my favorites. I still wish I'd purchased those delightful Art Deco knickers.
ReplyDeleteI think something similar has happened or is happening to Spoylt. They seem to be having trouble maintaining production.
