images copyright & courtesy of La PerlaWe can finally announce that we are bringing La Perla lingerie back to Faire Frou Frou, and we are so excited! The new goodies will be arriving in January 2010, but in the meantime the images from their current collection are so gorgeous that we had to share. In fact, the images in this post were blown up into life-size posters at the La Perla NYC office, and while we were there we took pictures with each one (but they came out ugly, so we're not sharing). We were pleased to learn that under the company's new ownership, and because of the 'recession', the Spring/Summer 2010 prices for La Perla are slightly lower than previous seasons. Yay for that!
In any event, we will re-visit the topic of La Perla once we start receiving our new shipments in just a matter of weeks.
Don't you think this is one of the prettiest lingerie photo shoots for Fall 2009? In terms of lingerie brands, they are tied with Fleur of England for being our favorite spread.

LOVE these showroom-y pictures! And on a sidenote, I watch my laundry carefully since the time my LPs got stolen... I'm still not sure whether the thief was a dude or a chick. :(

They do have a way of being elegant and accessible. It's odd reading this as (I think in visuals, film, etc) I had an idea today for a completely original lingerie ad. Hmm, maybe one day if I like a line enough to work with.
ReplyDeleteI also liked that you chose "The Two Mrs. Carrolls" as a favourite, few have seen that dramatic work, you might also enjoy Bogart's "In a Lonely Place", playing a similar character with more wit.
