Many women, including me, find bras fit much better by using the underbust measurement as the band size, at least as a starting point, when trying on bras.<br /><br />There is a website called the Bra Band Project, here:<br />http://www.flickr.com/photos/76304212@N06/<br /><br />It shows women with smaller ribcages (30" or less underbust measurement).
